Start-Q allows users to speed up the Windows startup process by providing a queue for all the applications launched on start. With this queue, the starting programs don't struggle for resources upon launching. Overall, it makes the login process faster. Using this program, users can specify the priority of startup applications, ensuring that no application is launched before the current one has finished loading. On the other side administrators can comply with security practices by checking if a program should be run with administrative privileges.
Start-Q actually includes 3 programs. One is the Windows startup manager; the second one is the startup queue content control; and the third one is a service-like application invisible during the whole operation implying no user interaction whatsoever.
With the program, users can assign higher priority to some programs and lower priority to others. You just add programs to the queue and then each program is loaded one after another. On the downside, not all startup programs or processes can be detected by the program.
